    Dubai & Oman Combination Tour

    Meet your driver at the lobby of the Dubai International Airport. (Paging area will be after Starbucks coffee at the lobby)

    Drive to hotel for check-in (Standard Check-in time at hotel 14.00hrs)

    In the late evening (depending on your arrival time) enjoy a late evening dinner cruise.

    Explore Dubai’s key attractions including Jumeirah Mosque, Burj Al Arab, Madinat Jumeirah, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, Dubai Mall, and the traditional souks if time permits. In the afternoon, experience a desert safari with dune bashing, camel riding, cultural entertainment, and a BBQ dinner at the desert camp.

    Check out from the Dubai hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight to Muscat. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and enjoy a short evening tour covering Muttrah Souq, Al Alam Palace, Bait Al Zubair Museum, and old Muscat.

    After breakfast, proceed for a shared dolphin watching and snorkeling excursion from the marina. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax at the hotel or enjoy the beach.

    Visit the Grand Mosque in Muscat before travelling towards Sur. En route, stop at Fins Beach and explore the scenic Wadi Shab area. Later, continue to Ras Al Hadd and visit Ras Al Jinz for the turtle watching experience.

    Travel to Wadi Bani Khalid, known for its natural pools and beautiful surroundings. Later, continue to Wahiba Sands for a desert experience, including dune views, sunset scenery, and an overnight stay at a desert camp.

    Begin the day with a desert sunrise before travelling towards Nizwa and continuing up to Jabal Al Akhdar. Enjoy the cooler mountain climate, terraced fruit orchards, traditional villages, and scenic mountain landscapes.

    Travel to Nizwa and explore its traditional souq, known for silverware, copper items, and Omani handicrafts. Visit the historic Nizwa Fort and Jabrin Castle, followed by time to experience the local culture of Nizwa.

    After breakfast in Nizwa, proceed towards Muscat for the beach extension or onward arrangements, marking the end of the main Dubai and Oman combination tour.

    Arrive at Muscat International Airport and meet your representative (lunch optional). In the evening, enjoy a city tour of Muscat: the Bait Al Zubair Museum, a photo stop at Al Alam Palace flanked by the Portuguese forts Jalali & Mirani, and the historic Mutrah Souq with its scent of frankincense and sandalwood. Dinner at a local restaurant.

    Breakfast at the hotel, then head to the Marina for dolphin watching and snorkelling with a BBQ lunch on the beach. In the evening, stroll the Mutrah Souq area and Corniche. Dinner at the hotel.

    Following breakfast, the self-drive adventure begins. The day starts with a visit to the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of Oman’s most impressive landmarks.

    The journey continues along the scenic coastal route through Quriyat, Tiwi, and Fins Beach before reaching the spectacular Wadi Shab, known for its turquoise pools, dramatic rock formations, and lush surroundings. Later, travel to Sur and Ras Al Hadd. After dinner, guests visit Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve where green turtles can often be observed nesting on the beach during the night. Overnight in Sur/Ras Al Jinz.

    After breakfast, travel to the beautiful Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most picturesque wadis, featuring natural pools and scenic hiking trails.

    Continue to the famous Wahiba Sands Desert, a vast landscape of rolling sand dunes that constantly change colours throughout the day. Experience thrilling dune bashing, enjoy a desert sunset, and spend the night at a traditional Bedouin-style desert camp.

    Enjoy a desert sunrise before departing for Nizwa, Oman’s ancient capital. Explore the renowned Nizwa Souq, famous for traditional silverwork, handicrafts, coffee pots, and Omani daggers.

    Visit the historic Nizwa Fort (photo stop) and continue to the beautifully preserved Jabrin Castle, renowned for its intricate architecture and historical significance. Overnight stay in Nizwa.

    Today’s journey takes guests to Jabal Shams, known as the “Grand Canyon of Oman” and the country’s highest accessible mountain region.

    The tour includes visits to Wadi Ghul and the picturesque mountain village of Misfah, famous for its traditional stone houses and terraced farming.

    Spectacular canyon views and cooler mountain air make this one of the highlights of the Oman itinerary. Overnight in Jabal Shams.

    After breakfast, return to Muscat while enjoying the changing landscapes of Oman.

    After arriving in the capital, vehicles are returned and the remainder of the day can be spent relaxing before the upcoming flight to Sri Lanka. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay in Muscat.

    Following breakfast, transfer to Muscat International Airport for the flight to Sri Lanka. Upon arrival in Colombo, guests are welcomed and transferred to Negombo, a charming coastal town known for its fishing heritage and beaches.

    Optional activities include a Muthurajawela Boat Ride through wetlands rich in wildlife or a Negombo City Tour, featuring the Dutch Canal, Fish Market, Dutch Fort, and colonial landmarks. Overnight in Negombo.

    After breakfast, proceed to the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, home to one of the largest captive elephant herds in the world.

    Guests can witness the elephants bathing and interacting along the river.

    Continue to Dambulla before visiting the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often referred to as the “Fortress in the Sky.” Highlights include water gardens, frescoes, the mirror wall, lion’s paw entrance, and panoramic summit views. Overnight in Dambulla.

    Begin the day with a visit to the UNESCO-listed Dambulla Golden Cave Temple, home to ancient Buddhist statues and remarkable cave shrines.

    Continue to Kandy, Sri Lanka’s last royal capital and a UNESCO World Heritage City.

    Enjoy a city tour featuring Kandy Lake, local markets, and the city’s cultural atmosphere.

    In the evening, witness a vibrant Sri Lankan Cultural Show showcasing traditional music and dance performances.

    Overnight in Kandy.

    Experience one of the world’s most scenic train journeys from Kandy to Nanu Oya, passing tea plantations, mist-covered mountains, and picturesque villages.

    After arrival, visit a traditional tea factory to learn about Ceylon Tea production.

    Stop at the beautiful Ramboda Falls Viewpoint before returning to Kandy. Overnight stay in Kandy.

    After breakfast, visit the historic Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya, renowned for its vast collection of tropical plants, orchids, palms, and exotic flora. Continue to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s commercial capital.

    The city tour includes Galle Face Green, Pettah Market, Old Dutch Hospital, Independence Square, Town Hall, religious landmarks, and views of the Lotus Tower.
